The Glass Skin Studio respects your privacy and processes personal data solely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Controller

What data we collect

• Name and address details for shipping
• Email address for order confirmation and (optionally) the newsletter
• Payment details, processed by our payment partner (we do not store these)
• Technical data (such as your IP address) via functional cookies and — with your consent — the Meta Pixel

What we use it for

Solely to process your order, keep you informed, and improve our service. We never sell your data to third parties.

Retention Periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Order and invoice data are retained in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation (7 years); newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies, grouped into categories:

• Necessary — required for the shop to function (for example, your shopping cart, language choice, and remembering your cookie preference). These are always on and require no consent.
• Marketing — the Meta Pixel (see below), which allows us to measure and optimize our advertising. We place these only after your consent.

On your first visit, we ask for your choice via a cookie notice (accept, necessary only, or set your own preferences). You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of every page, or refuse and delete cookies through your browser settings.

Meta Pixel (marketing)

If you consent to marketing cookies, we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The pixel measures which pages you view and actions such as adding to the cart and making a purchase, so that we can measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram (including retargeting). In doing so, data such as your IP address and a cookie ID is shared with Meta. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie Preferences”. Without consent, the pixel is disabled by default (‘consent revoked’): no marketing cookies are placed and no data is sent to Meta until you give your consent. Sharing with Third Parties

We only share data with parties needed to fulfil your order — our payment partner and the delivery service — and solely for that purpose. Data processing agreements have been made with these parties. If you consent to marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel additionally shares data with Meta (see the “Meta Pixel” section).

Security

Your data is transmitted via an SSL-encrypted connection and stored securely with care.

Your rights

Complaints

Do you disagree with how we handle your data? You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
